DGA tours is the official booking agency for the UK’s Blue Badge driver guides. We are the largest driver-guiding group in the UK – with over 50 qualified guides across the country – and the only national driver-guide agency in Britain.
The Blue Badge Guides
All DGA guides have the Blue Badge. This is the top guiding qualification, issued and regulated by Institute of Tourist Guiding or The Scottish Tourist Guides Association. The qualification is recognised by Visit Britain as “Britain’s Official professional Tourist Guides”, and dictates that all Blue Badge guides are informed, knowledgeable and customer service trained.
And it can take up to two years to qualify for a Blue Badge. And it doesn’t stop once we have the Badge. As a on-going condition of membership Blue Badge guides are required to do continuous training and personal development, including specialist courses and exams.
